"In the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I Trust!"
The Aquarian age is the age of the Mother and the Holy Spirit. It is the age when we are meant to experience and express the Mother aspect of God. Coming to understand this feminine aspect of God can liberate the creative feminine energy within us, both man and woman – the energy of beauty and creativity, intuition and inspiration.1
Mary, representing the Divine Mother, is one of the most revered figures in the West. Her role in the Piscean Age as the Mother of Jesus has endeared her to the hearts of millions. Many consider her their spiritual Mother.
As Mother and Teacher, Mary comes to liberate the feminine principle and spiritually transform us as we enter into the age of Aquarius. According to the Ascended Masters, the age of Aquarius is a state of consciousness designated for spiritual healing unlike any other age. This is the age for the raising up of the feminine principle. The nature of man and woman is comprised of both masculine and feminine energy. These polarities, the masculine and the feminine, have to be balanced for us to become spiritually and psychologically whole. This is the goal of the Aquarian Age man or woman. From the Mother we learn the things we need to do in order to raise the light of the Mother and magnetize the light of the Father.

On the inner level, Mary is constantly nurturing and tutoring our souls to develop our inner Christ. Just as she is the Mother of Jesus she is also our Mother and we are her children of the Sun. Through her heart we learn the path of self-mastery on the seven rays of the Holy Spirit.2 These spiritual rays are light emanations of the Godhead that connect us to the spiritual world. According to the Ascended Masters, each ray has a specific color and frequency as well as its own unique quality and corresponding chakra. Chakras are sacred centers of light and energy located along our spinal column that distribute the energy of the seven rays through our four lower bodies: the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical bodies. Chakras are "gateways" to the "spiritual self."3

The Archeia Mary
The name Mary means "Mother Ray" (Ma-ray). Mary had many incarnations prior to her final embodiment to prepare her for her role as the Mother of Jesus. She completed her divine plan in that lifetime, made her ascension and became an Ascended Lady Master. Mary comes from the angelic realm and is a female archangel ("archeia"). Thinking about this we realize that angels often embody on the earth and walk among us. One of Mary's many titles of honor is the "Queen of Angels." Mary is the divine complement and twin flame of Archangel Raphael ("God has healed"), one of seven holy angels that attend the throne of God.4
Mary and Raphael serve on the Fifth Ray called the emerald or green ray. This is the ray of healing and wholeness and the ray of precipitation, clear seeing, invention, vision, music, mathematics and science. It is also the ray of Truth. Those involved in the healing arts, doctors and nurses (traditional and alternative), as well as scientists and musicians are working on the emerald ray.
Mother of God
One of the roles of the Divine Mother is to assist us in preparing for the spiritual path and the initiations that are a part of it. As a Mother of God, Mary comes forth to nourish the God flame within. Through prayer and devotion to her sacred heart we establish our tie to her. As we make our heart one with her heart she cradles and comforts us. She helps us to heal our soul and our inner child. Mary helps us to pass our tests in the schoolroom of life. Author and spiritual teacher Elizabeth Clare Prophet explains:
We are all walking a path of initiation, and we all have a choice. We can either keep going on a treadmill of failing our tests – perhaps getting irritated or angry at the circumstances of life – or we can determine to pass these tests and move on with our spiritual development. We can get off the treadmill and begin hiking up the mountain.5
Mother Mary helps us to get off the treadmill by guiding us to see the things we need to let go of, those conditions in our psychology that prevent us from being whole. She teaches us to gently raise the Mother flame (Kundalini) up the spinal altar through each of the seven chakras.
The Immaculate Concept
From Mother Mary we learn to purify and strengthen the third eye (wisdom eye) chakra. This chakra corresponds to the Fifth Ray. Mother Mary teaches us the beauty of holding the immaculate concept not only for others and ourselves, but also for all mankind. Our vision and our thoughts have the power to create and many have proven the unlimited healing power that comes from combining visualization with prayer. Mother Mary teaches us to develop our divine vision and to hold the highest vision in any given situation.
Our vision, intuition and creative insights are directly associated with the third-eye chakra and the more mastery we have on the Fifth Ray the clearer our perception of life. Some of the misuses of this chakra include: ingratitude, envy, jealousy, possessiveness, greed and covetousness, lacking in virtues or being overly superstitious. All of these things can affect how we see things and cloud our perception of reality.
The Woman Clothed with the Sun
And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun,
and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of
twelve stars…

The image of the Woman clothed with the Sun spoken of in the Book of Revelation, explains Prophet, is the woman who has raised the fire, or light, of the Divine Mother. This is the archetype for the new age. This is done by raising the energy of the base-of-the-spine chakra, the Mother light (Kundalini), up the spine through each of the chakras to connect with the light of the Father in the crown chakra. When these two unite in the heart chakra, we give birth to the Christ consciousness. Whether we are male or female we are expected to raise the sacred energy of the Kundalini.
The twelve stars represent the twelve solar hierarchies headed by cosmic beings that initiate us on the use of God's energies: God-Power, God-Love, God-Mastery, God-Control, God-Obedience, God-Wisdom, God-Harmony, God-Gratitude, God-Justice, God-Reality, God-Vision, and God-Victory.6 The masters say:
The woman wearing the crown of twelve stars symbolizes that there is the attainment in the feminine ray of the mastery of these twelve godly attributes that are focused by cosmic beings who step them down for their absorption by lesser evolutions.7
The phrase "moon under her feet" has to do with the energies associated with the emotional body. The Ascended Masters teach the necessity of gaining mastery over the moon energies, the emotions (energies-in-motion), and the emotional or water body. The emotional body is associated with the astral plane and lunar energies. This is our desire or feeling body. The Divine Mother assists us in gaining control over our desires so that they become God desires.
Walking the path in beauty
The transforming power of the Mother teaches us to walk the path in beauty. Mother Mary strengthens our belief in the power of God to heal. She helps us to see the truth, to separate the real from the unreal, no matter how painful this may be. From Mother Mary we learn constancy and how to develop one-pointed concentration that gives us the mastery of God-Vision. As we raise the Mother flame we are healing our body, mind, soul and spirit and restoring our soul back to balance and wholeness.
Working with the Mother requires we balance the karma made with her in all her manifestations. Author Annice Booth writes:
It is absolutely necessary that you resolve your relationship to Mother – Mother within you as the light of the ascension flame, the mother who bore you in this life, Mother who comes to us in the person of the Guru.8
We also have to make peace with God – God as Father, God as Son and God as Holy Spirit.
"In the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I Trust!"
In 1917 Mother Mary appeared at Fatima, Portugal as Our Lady of the Rosary to three shepherd children. She urged the daily recitation of the rosary, devotion to her Immaculate Heart, and penance, saying if we do this many souls will be saved.
Healing occurs in many ways. As we meditate upon the heart of Mary we begin to open and heal our own heart. Prophet explains the sacred alchemy that occurs:
By gazing upon the Immaculate Heart which [Mary] has stressed in all her apparitions, we find that she is leading us to the altar of our own heart and our own divinity.9
Through her Immaculate Heart, Mary holds the divine vision for each and every one of us. The Immaculate Heart also reflects the three rays or plumes of the sacred Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. One ray represents the Father (Power), the second ray represents the Son (Wisdom), and the third ray represents the Holy Spirit (Love). This is called the threefold flame. This is the flame of the Christ found in the secret chamber of the heart (our inner altar). As we purify our heart we are balancing the three plumes of power (blue), wisdom (yellow) and love (pink). The goal is to develop and raise these three plumes so that they are in perfect balance.
When we place our devotion upon the Immaculate Heart of Mary we come to understand the power of divine grace that occurs when we give love and mercy to others. Through the agency of the Holy Spirit and the flame of mercy we are calling upon the spiritual energy of the violet flame. This is the color of mercy's flame. It is also the flame of forgiveness. When we give the rosary we are calling forth the violet flame. The violet flame is the seventh-ray aspect of the Holy Spirit and contains the God qualities of mercy, forgiveness and compassion. It is called the flame of transmutation and freedom as it can transmute the cause, effect, record and memory of negative karma. The violet flame is the flame of the Aquarian age.
Prophet has used the following version of the "Hail Mary" since 1972. Each time we give it, we are gently raising the Mother flame (Kundalini). The Mother flame and the ascension flame are one and the same. As we pray to Mother Mary she sends forth the angels of heaven to assist us in our sacred walk. She inspires us to reach out and comfort those in pain as she helps us to cultivate the virtues of mercy, forgiveness, grace and love. She teaches us to honor one another. The age of Aquarius is a state of consciousness and to enter into it we have to spiritually transform ourselves. This is done through the flame of the Mother.

Hail, Mary, full of grace
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women
And blessed is the fruit
Of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us, sons and daughters of God,
Now and at the hour of our victory
Over sin, disease, and death.10
The Retreat of the Archangels of the Fifth Ray over Fatima
From The Masters and Their Retreats we learn the following:
Mother Mary and Archangel Raphael's spiritual retreat is located in the etheric plane over Fatima, Portugal. Housed within it are beautiful works of art, halls of marble sculptures and majestic statues of beings made of "living spirit fire." We can call not only for ourselves, but also for our entire family to be taken there as we sleep at night to study science, music, or the healing arts. Archangel Raphael and Mother Mary also teach us on the discernment of spirits. The healing waters at Fatima have a mystical connection to this retreat.
The healing flame that blazes on the altar of [Mary and Raphael's] retreat was anchored in the physical octave when Mother Mary appeared to the three shepherd children at Fatima in 1917. There is a stream of light that flows like a mighty waterfall from the etheric temple to the physical focus, and to the present hour pilgrims are healed by the "waters" of the healing flame.11
